Some New York residents woke up to nearly a foot of snow today. The good news (depending on who you ask) didn’t end there because with snow days comes school and work cancellations. Yay!
When I was younger snow days were filled with mystery and intrigue. I suspect it’s because I only had to look forward to snow angels, snow men and sledding instead of shoveling snow in the bitter cold. Fortunately, I didn’t step foot outside today because my mother’s boyfriend took care of the shoveling, without being asked. Thank you, mister!
