The time has come when we transition from the balmy summer air to the sharp twinge of winter.
Pretty soon, bears will binge on food and retreat to their den for the duration of winter. And, birds will migrate towards the equator to bask in more tropical weather. Like hibernating animals, we also undergo a similar sort of winter lethargy (chilly weather along with 6:00 p.m. sunsets tend to attract sluggish inactivity). If we’re lucky, we might just get a visit from Indian summer before winter commences. But, I’ll be fine either way, autumn is my favorite season!
