“Can I fix you a plate, baby?” with those comforting words the stress of everyday life just melts away, doesn’t it? Gabriele Galimberti started the project Delicatessen With Love to soothe his dear grandmother’s worries about the foods he eats during his travels.
“You know, Grandma, there are many other grandmas around the world and
most of them are really good cooks,” Galimberti said. “I’m going to
meet them and ask them to cook for me so I can show you that you don’t have to
be worried for me and the food that I will eat!”

Thus, the talented Galimberti journeyed to 58 countries where he photographed various grandmothers in their humble kitchens with their signature dishes. I’m partial to the Haitian plate 🙂 I love Lambi (conch)
