Let’s face it, Valentine’s day isn’t a happy occasion for everyone. So, for the single ladies who have been burned by love one too many time or just hoping to sleep through the amour filled day, here’s the perfect cocktail to mirror your pent up aggression. Oh, it’s bitter.

Ingredients
2
oz (30 ml) limoncello
2 oz (30 ml) gin
1 oz (60 ml) tangerine juice
1 oz (30 ml) lemon juice
2 dashes of orange bitters
1/2 oz (15 ml) Aperol
tangerine peel for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Add limoncello, gin, juices and bitters into a shaker filled with ice. Cap the
shaker and shake vigorously until well combined, about 20-30 seconds.

Pour into chilled champagne glass. With an upside down spoon touching the side
of glass, pour Aperol slowly on top of spoon (liquor will slide along the edge
of the glass and sink to bottom). Serve chilled.
