Next to Valentine’s day, Christmas is probably the second most couple-centric time of the year. So my darlings, do you find that your Christmases are a little less merry when you’re single?
It’s never been like that for me, as long as I’m surrounded by family, I’m always as happy as can be. However, having someone special would be a welcomed addition during Christmas time but the absence of one has yet to diminish from my holiday experience.
Here’s a funny little verse about singles on Christmas:
At Christmas little children sing and merry bells jingle
The cold winter air makes our hands and faces tingle
And happy families go to church and cheerily they mingle
And the whole business is unbelievably dreadful, if you’re single
