Newtown Conn., Tribute By Jason Robert Brown

December 16, 2012 by Stapha Charleme Leave a Comment

American musical theater composer, lyricist, and playwright, Jason Robert Brown, wrote a touching tribute in honor of the 26 victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary massacre in Newtown Conn.,– “Twenty-Six Names.” I think  he captured the emotions that many have wanted to communicate to the grieving families of those who lost their lives that day but weren’t able to convey through words.

“I will remember their names
and I will sing them to a safer place,” Brown wrote on his personal website. “I’m sorry if I mispronounced anything.”
