My dad passed away when I was about six years old, and although I don’t remember him much, I miss his presence terribly. I will admit, at times it makes me a bit sad when I see tender moments between a father and his child, but I quickly switch into ‘aww’ mode because I know they’re in the midst of forging eternal bonds.
