I’ve sampled many falafels over the years but none has ever compared to Taim’s. My favorite is their green falafel that is stippled with cilantro, parsley and mint. I used to eat lunch at the tiny restaurant practically every week when I worked at Penguin Group. I would always get super excited to place my order (I’m such a dork).
With the super crispy falafels nestled between the convave of a warm pita bread, I used to load them with creamy tahini spread and fresh Israeli salad –which basically consists of tomatoes, cucumbers and herbs. Next time I find myself in the West Village, I must stop by for a quick bite. I haven’t eaten there for at least three years.
