Minneapolis photographer Matt Blum is the genius behind the Nu Project, a collection of photographs featuring the female body in all of its unretouched glory. The photographs are taken strictly on a volunteering basis with absolutely no monetary gains and will ultimately grace the pages of Blum’s upcoming book.
However, I’ve noticed that most of the women are predominantly Caucasian, which is wonderful but as a woman of color, I would love to see a more diverse group of volunteers. Fortunately, Blum is currently working on retrieving women from all walks of life to be featured on his website, which I think is simply extraordinary.
