It’s the new year and many of us are thinking about new beginnings and starting fresh. What better way to replenish the body and face whatever lies ahead with a toxin-busting green juice regimen!
I’ve always made an effort to incorporate fruits and vegetables into my daily diet but it can be difficult because sometimes a girl just needs a greasy hamburger, and the heck with those healthy sides. However, introducing a variety of fruits and vegetables into your diet can be easily accomplished by juicing.
I’ve been juicing for years but I really stepped it up about a year ago to cleanse my body and I’ve never felt better. Here’s one of my go-to recipes:
Ingredients
1 or 2 celery stalks
1 cucumber
kale
apple, pineapple or pear
parsley
ginger
1 small lemon or lime, peel included
water or a fresh squeezed orange juice
Directions
Place all the ingredients in a blender and enjoy! feel free to have seconds.
