Life is full of memorable firsts, the first day of school, first dance, first kiss, first boyfriend and the list goes on. But the ultimate first in a girl’s life, apart from her wedding day, is her very first time.
It’s funny how an act so basic can be full of so many complexities. Sex and especially first-time sex is capable of brewing a host of inner conflicts. Of course, we ladies often turn to guides like sex books to remedy our sex-related woes, but they often offer a series of superficial fixes. Why does it seem like slipping on a pair of lacy undies and exhibiting Tourette-like bedroom behavior, like, shouting a string of salty out-of-character words are almost always a solution?
I wonder, what went through your mind during your first time? were you focused on performing elaborate acrobatic tricks to please your partner? were you worried about how you looked or smelled? was all the anxiety worth it in the end?
