Interning At The Long Island Herald

I just completed my first full week as a Long Island Herald intern, whoop, whoop! The staff is super nice and helpful, I feel completely at home already. On Tuesday, I covered my first event, which was located on Freeport’s Nautical Mile, a picturesque little stretch in Long Island, full of seafood restaurants, bars and piers. I’m in the process of writing my first feature article for the paper, I can’t wait for it to be published.
